What a Stompin’ night with super-talented Stompin’ Dave, teamed up with superb drummer Lucy Piper, with outstanding bassist Sophie Lord (with her frankenbass), covering an exiting range of Americana from roots blues to bluegrass.
Dave is a phenomenal artist” A former member of former UK Blues Band of the Year The Producers, Stompin’ Dave was nominated for a British Blues Award in 2014. He has appeared at Evershot Parish Hall many times over the years and we are so excited to have him back with this extended line-up.
Devon Drummer, Lucy Piper, has performed in Mississippi, USA alongside many top musicians. In 2019 and 2020 Lucy worked with double Grammy Award winning label Ruf Records on their annual ‘Blues Caravan’.
Joining Dave and Lucy is tremendous bassist Sophie Lord. Sophie has performed with many different famous artists including members of Level 42, UK singles charting R&B artist Marlon Roudette, punk legend Viv Albertine (lead singer of The Slits), USA based keyboard Goddess Dona Oxford, critically acclaimed USA born bluesman Stephen Dale Petit, Tony O’Malley etc.
